Born in Nicaragua, Ena moved to Florida 4 years ago and began working at Sports Club/LA – Miami as a Spa Attendant. Ena was recently promoted to Spa Manager while earning her Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to customer service make her the perfect Spa Manager. Ena has an infectious smile and a passion for the Club and our Members.
A native of New York, Lisa is passionate about fitness and nutrition. As the Operations Manager of Sports Club/LA-Miami, Lisa brings her extensive operations management experience and her customer-focused attitude to our facility. Prior to joining us, Lisa worked for six years at the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center at The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne as Operations Manager, including special events, and as a Director of Ritz Kids. She is a graduate of the Florida International University where she graduated with Honors with a B.A in Education. Lisa lives on Brickell Avenue and enjoys the richness and diversity of city life.
Rick Fichter joined the company in 2008. Prior to Sports Club/LA, he managed several sales teams and served as a corporate sales trainer for the largest network of clubs in the D.C. area. His dedication to fitness originated in his high school years playing football. Once football was over, and without a team sport to rely on, Rick experienced severe weight gain. Fifty-five pounds later, he hit his breaking point and steadily shifted focused to his health and wellness to reverse the trend. It is his success that that drives him to share and spread his enthusiasm for fitness today.
Matthew’s passion for health and wellness was cultivated in college where he studied health science, finance and was a Division 1 athlete. Mr. Hopkins has worked with the Boston Red Sox and trained D1/professional athletes, has written fitness content for the Boston Globe, worked with Miss USA pageant contestants, trained figure and print models, and has managed and consulted for health clubs all over Boston and Miami.
Matthew has a degree in Business and an MBA in addition to extensive accolades within the fitness industry. He is a Certified Personal Trainer with the NSCA and NASM, a CSCS, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, licensed Kettle Bell instructor and certified Crossfit instructor.
